General Information
One of the most well-known buildings in the world in recent times is the Burj Khalifa which is a skyscraper in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. With a total height of 829.8 metres(2,722ft), it has been the largest building in the world since its completion in 2009. The skyscraper took around 5 years to build, it was mainly created using reinforced concrete, steel and glass. Built to the designs of Adrian Smith, the skyscraper is used for many purposes; it contains a hotel, restaurants, offices, observation decks and much more. It is an iconic building and one of the most photographed in the world with it being highly popular with influencers.
Getting there
The skyscraper is served by the ‘Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall’ metro stop. The 30, D03 and F13 buses also stop close to the skyscraper.
Opening Times and Admission
The observation decks at the skyscraper are open daily. Admission varies between hours, there is a primetime ticket (12pm-6pm) which costs 533AED and a non-prime hours ticket (7pm-10pm) which costs 379AED. Restaurants and other attractions operate at different hours.
Tallest building in the world and it is very impressive. It is a luxurious place and is therefore quite expensive.
